Wireless Medical Monitoring Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wireless Medical Monitoring Inc. ("Wireless Medical Monitoring," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information through the Wireless Medical Monitoring iOS application, clinician portal, related services, and support website (collectively, the "Services").
Information we handle
Depending on how the Services are configured and used, we may handle:
- Account and contact information, such as name, username or account identifier, email address, organization, role, and authentication information. The iOS app may store credentials in the Apple Keychain, while the service verifies protected server-side credentials.
- Patient and profile information, such as medical record number, date of birth, sex, organization, care-team assignment, and account relationships.
- Health and activity information, such as ECG, heart rate and variability, respiration, impedance, temperature, steps, distance, accelerometer or body-position information, physiological measurements, and related sensor telemetry.
- Device and technical information, such as external sensor identifiers, IP address, request time, security events, and diagnostic or service logs.
- Support information, such as the name, email address, and message supplied when someone contacts us.
How information is obtained
Information may be supplied by an authorized user or administrator, received from a participating healthcare organization or connected Wireless Medical Monitoring system, or generated when the Services authenticate users, communicate with devices or servers, and protect and maintain the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; enforce role-based access; provide patient profiles and physiological telemetry to authorized users; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability; respond to support or privacy requests; and comply with applicable law. We do not use health information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
How information is shared
We may share information with the healthcare organization responsible for the account and its authorized personnel; vendors that provide hosting, networking, security, website, email, or support services on our behalf; and authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a corporate transaction. Service providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us, subject to applicable agreements and law.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Healthcare organizations and medical records
When an organization provides access to the Services, that organization may control patient records and account administration. Requests concerning an organization-managed record may need to be directed to the organization's privacy office or administrator. The Services are not emergency services and should not be relied on for emergency monitoring or immediate clinical intervention.
This policy does not by itself establish that a particular deployment is subject to HIPAA or covered by a business associate agreement. Do not submit protected health information unless Wireless Medical Monitoring and the responsible organization have authorized the production environment and completed all required agreements and safeguards.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Services, maintain required records, comply with legal or contractual obligations, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable, subject to legal, medical-record, backup, security, and organizational retention requirements. Account or deletion requests may require identity verification.
Security
We use safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport, iOS Keychain storage for app credentials, protected password verification, and role-based authorization. No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Services are intended for authorized professionals and organization-managed users and are not directed to children under 13. Patient information about a minor may be handled only through an authorized healthcare organization and in accordance with applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information. We may need to verify your identity and may direct organization-managed requests to the responsible healthcare organization. You may also contact us with questions or complaints.
International processing
The Services are operated from the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
